The first morning my sister and I played tennis, and every day we were all either at the beach or the pool. My brother John had bought a bunch of inflatable toys and a little paddle boat for the kids to enjoy, and they certainly did! One day we played miniature golf. And on the last full day we rented jet skis, a paddle boat, and a huge trampoline that was anchored out in the water. It was the first time my kids had been on jet skis or gone tubing behind a motor boat. They loved it all!
Off to one of the pools
Sebastian only lasted a few minutes at the miniature golf course. He didn't understand why he couldn't play with everyone's golf balls. :) Jeff ended up taking him over to the playground. All my brothers and sister were off at a slightly larger golf course all morning.
If he had made it longer, he would have got a cool mini golf club like my sweet nephew Jacob.
I was thrilled that my aunts and uncles came up to see us all. I love these good people! My sister-in-law, Lita, nephew Kyler, niece Maddie and Lita's nephew
Grandma F. helped the kids so I could take all these pics. It is the best to share your kids with someone who you know loves them like you do. Thanks for such a great time Mom!
After golf, they were all practiced up for croquet and other games on the lawn.
Despite all the fun activities all the kids still seemed to find plenty of time for computer games.
On July 3rd we had a nice laid-back day hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa F.'s home as well. Steven and Marianne's family came up and Marvin's grandson, B.J., joined us as well. Sebastian took a 5 hour nap (!) to recuperate from this new vacation lifestyle, and we learned a few fun new card games outside in the shade while the kids played, ate popsicles and had a blast in the hot tub! Mom cooked very yummy ribs for dinner and we drove up to a lookout to see the fireworks from the stadium. Unfortunately we didn't leave quite quick enough and got stuck in an hour of traffic congestion. :(
My mom lives on a golf course and there are always plenty of golf balls lying around. Steven, Jeff and BJ had a golf ball throwing contest while we sat outside and enjoyed the perfect evening.
Such great memories!

Fun fun fun!
We stayed in those condos about 10 years ago for John's family reunion. It is "ideal"! When we drive past them, we always comment on how much fun we had; the kids remember too.
I think we are too big for those condos now. Last year we went to the "Inn at the Lake" and rented it out (it used to be a bed and breakfast).
Makes me envious! No extended family for us - neither my husband nor I have any siblings living. :(
I think that's why I adopted so many children - it is sad not to have any relatives.
Thanks for all the good pictures. So many happy memories!
