Memorial Day

We went to a little local parade with some friends for Memorial Day. We were very ill-prepared! I didn't realize that each of the kids would accumulate more candy than they could carry! Luckily a neighboring spectator took pity and gave us a spare grocery sack.

Afterwards some other friends had us over to their home for a BBQ pool party. It was the first outdoor swim this year for all of us, and everyone had such a wonderful time. The day was in the high 90s and it was absolutely heavenly playing in the pool with the kids. Sebastian was thrilled to be in the water and completely unstoppable! He kept throwing his head under the water and trying to swim around like the big kids.
