End-of-year Carnival
All our children really look forward to the carnival that their elementary school has every June. They have a dunk tank, bounce houses, a photo booth, a cake walk, a little train ride and all kinds of carnival games where the kids earn tickets to claim a prize at the end of the night. This year it was a little cold and drizzly, so most of it was inside the school. Despite the weather and the long line, Tristan and Alex were both determined to dunk the teacher. Hopefully it was warm water because both of them dunked him!
They had all kinds of silly dress-up stuff at the photo booth this year. The kids loved this part!

Sebastian was completely mesmerized by Dan, Dan the Choo Choo Man.
I was nervous to send him on it without me, but Emma took good care of him, and he loved every minute!
Every time he went by he waved to us along with the other kids!
Next year Alex will start school here and Emma will still be here because they have K-6. I am thrilled to have all 5 at one school--especially such a great school!

Isn't that nice? Everyone at one school?! We changed back to private school the year I was going to have four children at four different schools. Absurd. The thing that made me crossest was that it effectively made it impossible to have regular contact with the teachers.
I've never heard of a school having a similar thing at the end of the year. Great fun.
