This year we started celebrating the 4th of July several weeks early. There are so many fireworks displays around here that they have to spread them out a bit so people can come.
One night we went with some wonderful friends out to see them over Lake St. Clair. All the kids had a great time starting with a KFC picnic in the park and ending with sitting on the beach enjoying cotton candy, glo-sticks, sparklers and an impressive fireworks display.
Sebastian fell asleep in my arms and woke up moments before they started. He must have wanted to see his first Independence Day celebration!
