The kids were a bit timid gutting the jack-o-lanterns this year, but soon got into the spirit of it all. 
Then we had them sketch face ideas for Daddy to carve, and eat all the roasted pumpkin seeds.
Here's what we came up with:
Emma loved her little Harry Potter pumpkin.
While Grandpa and Jeff slaved away on our brickpaver project, Grandma came and helped me head up the church Trunk-or-Treat.
Thanks for your help Mom! Everyone had a great time!

Family togetherness - best way when possible.
So fun! We had a similar ward activity, only we did it inside and families took a "door" and decorated it and handed out candy. It was really nice as it was quite chilly that night. I hope our ward does the trick-or-treating inside again. The YW did a gross factory in the Primary Room. The YM did a haunted maze in the YW room (it was very tame). Costume parade in the gym with donuts and hot chocolate.
