Some early November happenings

In the midst of our landscaping, we also had to have a bit more concrete poured to facilitate getting the Suburban into our turned garage. Since they were pouring it anyway, we had them put in a basketball net. We have all been enjoying it! The kids couldn't even wait for Daddy to finish hooking on the net!We celebrated Sandy's belated birthday together. She wanted apple crisp for dessert. Yum!The kids hadn't played with their Geo-Trax set for a while, so we broke those out and they all had a great time. These toys are the best toys--easy enough for a 3 or 4-year-old to hook together, and fun enough to keep our 10-year-old entertained. Before Sebastian headed to bed, they had a hard time keeping up with his destruction. :)Our church had a 5k family fun run, so one Saturday morning we all headed out together. It was really fun, and all the little ones did a great job running!I just saw Alex's expression. What a silly!

Family Run sounds like a wonderful idea. Did they have a good turn out for it.
