A Visit from Grandma and Grandpa, day 1

Last week my mom called me and said that even though they could only come for a few days, they were going to come in a couple days because they are dying to meet Maya and Tristan. Yeah!!! We had a wonderful time while they were here and only wished for more! It is so hard when you live on opposite sides of the country.

The first day they were here, we took the kids to a local farm where you can pet the animals and see the cows being milked every morning. Although Maya was very nervous (she is very scared of all animals), as long as I was holding her, or she was in Alex's stroller, she did alright. They all really loved playing on the tractors and snack time on the rocking chairs!

Here Maya is warming up to Grandma. She loves to rock on this bench on our deck.

Emma had tons of fun playing with Grandpa. He always has the coolest toys.
