Tristan is still smiling today! This morning our little snack with the kids was apple slices. They are just as excited about this as the cookies the other day. They don’t get fresh fruit very often. We brought little wooden stamps and ink pads to use with their notepads. However, they totally did not get it! We tried to show them how to do it, and they just tried to peel off the rubber and play with the ink pad. :) We decided those will have to wait for another day.
After we played for a while we gave them some animal crackers and peach juice in a sippy cup. At first they weren’t sure how to use the cups. We had to take the valves out for them to get any out, and then Maya drank her entire cup in one sitting. She had drunk her entire strawcup of water earlier as well! We practiced signing “more” and counting with the animal crackers. They LOVE to eat! :)

Finally caught up with your wonderful blog! CONGRATULATIONS!!! We are all so excited for you, and looking forward to meeting Maya & Tristan. Dance and piano went great. We're off to our friends' this afternoon for the Art Fairs tomorrow.
Praying for many, many tender mercies,
Sandy
You must be the happiest people on earth! I've been there and know - it doesn't get better! Well, actually it DOES (and it gets worse, too) but the joy of opening your heart to children who need love is like nothing else on earth.
They are GORGEOUS! I am so excited for y'all. And, it's great to see Dinia and Ron in your photo. I'm so glad you were able to catch up with them and they are fabulous, of course. Have a wonderful time and enjoy every minute. It'll be no time before the big trip home. Paka! Tamara
