The day before Isabelle's birthday, we traveled to Ann Arbor for our annual adoption agency luncheon. When we were starting the adoption process 3 years ago we started the process through one agency, had
a terrible experience, and then switched to
Lighthouse Adoptions. A friend recommended this agency to us and the best part was that they had Maya and Tristan's referrals and just needed a family that was paper-ready. We were, and after much prayer, we took the leap of faith to make the switch. We are so glad we did, and it is fun to get together each year with some of the other Lighthouse families that were going through it all with us for their own children.
This year the luncheon was at a bounce place--basically a big room filled with bounce houses and inflatable slides and obstacle courses. The kids had a blast, not to mention some great exercise!

Darling pictures. Especially good of Maya on the slide. I can imagine the fun more vividly now.:)
I'm always sad to see another year pass with us not making it out to the party. Maybe next year. You are lucky you are so close. Bounce houses are always a hit with the kids.
