My 2 Little Munchkins: February Fotos

Our two littlest ones are just 2 years apart, so I naturally anticipated a rough adjustment for Sebastian as he learned to share all the attention with our new little one. Happily, this has not been the case at all. Sebastian absolutely dotes on Drake and is unexpectedly soft and gentle with him. I LOVE seeing all the tenderness that Drake brings out in all of his siblings.

Sebastian loves hats right now! He loves to have me tie a baby blanket around his head for a "pirate hat." Really, it doesn't matter what it actually is, as long as he can walk around with it on his head like a hat. It could be a pair of Drake's pants, or his own shirt pulled up onto his head, or one of his favorites are the nets from the game Elefun--that you catch the little butterflies in.

He asked me to take this picture of him with a toy kitchen knife.
We started going to a new library storytime that does little crafts and activities. On Valentine's Day we recreated this little ice cream & marshmallow snowman for all the kids to make. We put him on top of a brownie for extra fun. :)

Valentine's was extra special this year because Drake gave us his first sweet smiles!

Tummy time is definitely NOT his favorite, but he is getting stronger!

When he got tired of our little photo shoot, he let us know!
Sebastian was there immediately to give him his "mimi" and help him feel better. It is truly amazing how much comfort pacifiers can give these little people. Sebastian still has one in his crib that he uses when he sleeps, so I thought he would try to use the baby's, but it hasn't been a problem at all. He loves to hold Drake and help take care of him.

Drake is an amazingly well-tempered little guy. He has been our easiest baby by far and we have been enjoying him thoroughly!

Handsome handsome sons. How we love them. How we wish we could cuddle them, or in Sebastions case, chase him around the kitchen again.
