A couple weeks ago I took Tristan in for his circumcision and he was such a brave little trooper. I am so proud of the little guy! His engaging grin and sparkling eyes (that he can produce totally on demand) landed him a photo session with the surgeon for this promotional postcard. This doctor is actually Tristan's surgeon's partner.On another medical note: We got fabulous news last week at Maya's eye appointment. The eye doctor said her eyes are doing much better now. There is no need for patching or drops or anything! And, in 8 to 10 years there is a chance that she may not even need glasses at all! Thank heavens for early intervention! It does make me terribly sad for all the little munchkins we saw at the orphanage who are far-sighted like her. We asked why they hadn't given her glasses, and they told us that at the orphanages they don't treat anything unless it is life-threatening.
