After Emma finished her Martian Marathon race, we surprised the kids and took them to the zoo for the rest of the day. It has been over a year since we've gone, so they were absolutely thrilled! We made sure to hit all our favorite spots. First up was the Butterfly/Aviary house. Sebastian really loved this! In fact, he was fascinated with this whole trip. He LOVES animals!
At the other end of the zoo is the Polar Bear exhibit and the water tunnel with the seals.
Sebastian had a much better view from Daddy's shoulders than in his stroller.
The kids love to climb up into the prairie dog tunnels.
After walking the length of the zoo and back, not to mention Emma's race, everyone's legs were so tired that they didn't know if they could make it. Miraculously once we came to the playground everyone felt completely reinvigorated! Sebastian likes to hang like a little monkey all by himself.
