St. Patty's Day

All the kids were excited to wear green today and eat Lucky Charms for breakfast. Isabelle was hoping that a leprechaun would stop by and leave us gold. Unfortunately that didn't happen, but we did have a great day. Everyone was off from school half-day for parent-teacher conferences. The weather was beautiful and we went on a walk with Robert and Sandy. There were piles of melting snow everywhere, so the kids had a snowball fight with Robert while we walked along. We aren't big corned beef and cabbage people, so we just eat green food for our traditional dinner. This time we had pesto pasta, guacamole, cucumbers, kiwi, limeade and meatballs thrown in for fun. Isabelle and Tristan LOVED the kiwi, and Emma wouldn't touch it. :) For dessert we had mint chocolate chip ice cream cones. Everyone liked those!
On Friday when everyone was off again in the afternoon, we headed for the park for the first time this year. Sebastian slept through it all, but the rest of the kids got some great exercise. The sunshine and fresh air were wonderful!
